If you’ve seen The Way I See It, the new documentary about former Official White House Photographer Pete Souza, you may have noticed The Connecticut Forum featured throughout the film.

The film crew, which includes Academy Award-winning producer Evan Hayes (Free Solo) and award-winning filmmaker Dawn Porter (John Lewis: Good Trouble), was granted full access to follow Souza throughout his visit to Hartford for our Photo Wonders Forum in May 2019. From our Student-Panelist Roundtable and pre-Forum dinner at the Wadsworth Atheneum, to the sound check and backstage at The Bushnell, the crew filmed Souza and fellow panelists Lynsey Addario, Brian Skerry, and moderator Lucy Nalpathanchil every step of the way.

It’s a night we won’t soon forget!
